One of the roles of a CDAO is to investigate or to oversee investigations conducted on their behalf. A question to ask yourself is, if an incident arose, would my investigations at present stand up to the detailed scrutiny which would ultimately happen?
The investigations training incorporated into the course will give you a working knowledge of the relevant legislation which you can then apply to all of your investigations, giving you confidence in the knowledge that you could withstand scrutiny at any level.
Note – Certificates of attendance are provided to all delegates who complete the 2 Day Controlled Drug Accountable Officer course which can then be used as evidence of 12 hours of CPD for appraisal and re validation purposes.
Sancus also offers a CDAO Refresher course to bring AO’s up to date with recent developments. We recommend that CDAO’s enrol on this interactive online training between twelve and twenty four month after their two day training.
The CDAO Refresher brings AO’s up to date with recent developments. This interactive refresher course consists of several units which provide protected time for internet research and reading activities together with e-learning modules and regular knowledge checks to ensure your understanding.
Certificates of completion is provided to all delegates which can be used as evidence of CPD for appraisal and revalidation purposes.
