Paul Jenner

Trainer & Independent Review Officer

Paul completed his police career with Cumbria Constabulary in November 2020. Prior to that, he had worked in a range of roles including; Professional Standards, Divisional Command, Criminal Investigation, and Territorial Policing. In the time since his retirement, Paul has delivered training in the field of professional standards, anti-corruption, and misconduct to police forces, and carries out reviews of complaints on behalf of Review Bodies.

Darren Wilson

Trainer & Independent Review Officer

Darren retired from Merseyside Police in January 2024, following a 29-year career. Darren worked operationally, in change management and specialist departments where he gained a wealth of knowledge and experience. Darren managed the implementation of the regulatory change for Merseyside Police and their Professional Standards Department.  He was part of the regional and national sub-groups that supported the development of Centurion. Darren is a trainer with Sancus Solutions and conducts case reviews on behalf of the Office of Police Crime Commissioner.

Chris Warren

Trainer & Independent Review Officer

Chris completed his policing career with Cheshire Police in December 2021. He has held investigatory roles at every rank and was an experienced Senior Investigating Officer in major crime investigations. He spent a number of years within Professional Standards including four years as departmental head, with responsibility for professional standards, counter corruption and vetting. He successfully oversaw the introduction of both the 2012 and 2020 police conduct regulations.   

Rich Corrigan

Trainer & Independent Review Officer

Rich completed 30 years’ service with Avon and Somerset Police in July 2021. He was head of Professional Standards and Vetting leading up to the implementation of the 2020 regulations.  His Professional Standards experience led to him being asked to support the Sovereign Base Area Police in Cyprus with a complex corruption investigation which led to new regulations being implemented. Rich was responsible for the delivery of training of the new regulations to all managers in this British Overseas Territory.  His police career covered a wide range of policing roles including as Gold Public Order/Public Safety commander and Strategic Firearms command.    

Richard Hamlin

Trainer & Independent Review Officer

Richard spent 25 years working for Surrey and Sussex Police in various roles including Head of Crime Training for both forces and Head of Anti-Corruption.  He was Staff Officer to Sir Mark Rowley whilst he was Chief Constable of Surrey Police and spent two years on secondment as Staff Officer to Sir Hugh Orde at the Association of Chief Police Officers in London, working on the implementation of national policing strategy.  He has worked on several high-profile crime and major disaster investigations.  He is also the Independent Chair of the Pan Sussex Child Death Overview Panel.

Kath Jones

Independent Review Officer

Kath retired from South Wales Police following a 30-year career in 2018, Kath worked operationally and in specialist departments where she gained a wealth of knowledge and experience. Kath reached the rank of Detective Inspector and worked on various high-profile cases during her time spent in Public Protection and in the Professional Standards Department.  Since retiring from South Wales Police Kath has obtained a training qualification and likes to keep herself updated in respect of relevant police legislation.  Kath is currently contracted to Sancus Solutions where she holds the position of independent complaints reviewer, conducting reviews on behalf of the Police Commissioners Office.
